Unabhängigen Schlußlichtes U.S. 176US - Original condition and 'virgin'.   Only the rust was removed and then it was polished. 

'US' is an abbreviation for self taillight  - Independent Taillight.  I have the US235 - RT 63 and the US176 side by side for size comparison.  Mounted inside the US176 is a Feuerhand 176-E.
