FEUERHAND Nr. 375
*Wagon bracket is not original to this lantern*
This lantern was a challenge in the final stages of being restored due to the pitting. One never knows what lies underneath the rust until you remove it. In the end, a beautiful piece of history was revealed.
The globe is etched and is marked 'Feuerhand 375'. The bracket is 'new old stock' and I took a bit of artistic license with mounting it on this lantern in order to show it side by side with the old Feuerhand advertisement.
The measurement of this Feuerhand 375 globe is:
HEIGHT: 85mm
TOP OUTSIDE DIAMETER: 58mm
BOTTOM OUTSIDE DIAMETER: 70mm
Danke Henk!
Circa: 1933 - 1943

Hello Tommi,
That is the original tin you are seeing in this photo. Once the rust has been completely removed, then it is time to polish with Blue Magic and a few other polishes. Each lantern can have a slightly different 'color' to it depending on the age and quality of the tin.

Hi,
What a beauty! How do you get such satin grey finish? Just looking at the pictures before and after...
Cheers!
