FRENCH 'SIF 500'

This lantern came to me almost as you see it now,  minus the burner and globe.  The original burner was broken and beyond repair.  A vintage Thiel and Bardenheuer burner fit perfectly and a globe from a French Bon Jour was installed.  A very special thanks to K.B. for this lantern.

When you lift the globe with the finger lifter, the cap rides up for clean-out.  A very elegant and beautiful example of the SIF 500.
