The Wick Burner - Thumb Wheel was manufactured by Thiel & Bardenheuer of Rhula in Thüringen.

Thiel & Bardenheuer also produced wick burners for Hermann Nier.

The factory - village where this lantern was produced in and around 1900 was on the school road in Leuben - Niedersedlitz.  The old postcard above in the photo gallery shows the buildings.  I have the Heinrich Friedrich lantern along side the Friedrich Günther Lantern for comparison.
