HUGO SCHNEIDER - HASAG Nr. 107
This lamp is identical to the Frowo Nr. 677. Embossed on the brass fuel tank is 'Hasag No. 107'. On the other side it is embossed 'FOREIGN'. It takes a 5mm round wick.
Theory has it that Hasag had a bad reputation and used the word 'FOREIGN' and hoped it would be more accepted by the other countries for export. The word 'FOREIGN' is also seen on certain Bat Lanterns.
The lamp had the wrong globe in it and now has the proper globe. The burner works perfectly and burns beautifully.
