Heinrich Friedrich Beierfeld - Schutz Marke

Rare and hard to find Heinrich Friedrich 'SCHUTZ MARKE' Kerosene lantern with the original 'Schutz Marke' globe. The embossing on the tank and on the globe is of a large eagle holding a lantern in its talons.   It is a beautiful example of a hand blown glass globe. The burner is a Thiel & Bardenheuer of Ruhla.

Unfortunately, I am missing the cage and hope to find one someday.

This is one of Heinrich Friedrich's first lanterns and dates sometime around 1909. The brand name of 'ADLER' was a registered word mark for Heinrich Friedrich in 1914.
